Our small restaurant offers typical tuscan dishes, the result of skilful hands and of the experience of the family.
The recipes follow the seasons, and are everything that the company produces: vegetables, extra virgin olive oil, wine, vinsanto, jams, fruit.

The other raw materials (meat, salami, cheese) are purchased from local producers, to enjoy a slice of Tuscany.

Location

Meals are served in thethe ancient wine cellar, the room on the ground floor adjacent to the wine cellar, while in the spring and in the summer you can take advantage of the porch or the garden.

Gluten-free

Since July 2009, we are entitled to the administration of food gluten-free, strictly checked and verified by AIC (The Italian association of Ceciachia), according to the project (AFC eating Outside the Home).
For people with celiac disease, then, we prepare tasty breakfast and great meals, always following the recipes of the Tuscan tradition.

We offer set menu following the seasonality of products, at a cost of 35.00 Euro per person excluding desserts and wine (a la carte), 20.00 Euro children from 2 to 10 years old, free for the youngest.

The menu includes antipasti platter mixed, the first two, meat and side dish. For special needs (allergies, tastes, and preferences), we predict a custom menu.

Our products

The Wine

our small vineyard is nestled in the forests of acacia trees and chestnut trees, on the Montalbano, facing the sunrise, and then, well exposed to the heat and light of the sun, sheltered from the winds, and surrounded by the scents of nature. It makes for a great grapes for wine, sweet and concentrated, with a bright color, typical of the grape pomace. The harvest is carried out completely by hand, to walk the various rows, accompanied by bigonce in which you drop the ripe grapes.

The extra Virgin Olive Oil

The “Extra Virgin Olive Oil The horse and Buggy”, it is obtained exclusively by the simple pressing of the olives, and its organoleptic and sensory characteristics basically depend on the type of cultivars (frantoio, moraiolo, leccino, pendolino), and from the peculiar soil and climate conditions in which they are grown. It is characterized by a degree of acidity expressed in oleic acid much less than 0.8% and is obtained through a process of transformation of traditional that does not contemplate the use of any additive chemical origin. The olives are harvested completely by hand (picking), according to the tuscan tradition.

Jams

From the earth we collect fruits and vegetables, which transform in our laboratory, to make jams fresh and genuine, with the addition of sugar.Preserves combine well with the fresh and aged cheeses of the area, in particular cheese, but are also great for tarts or cakes traditional. The production faithfully follows the seasonality of the products, therefore, the variety of tastes present in our showcase depends only on the natural course of the harvest.

EVENTS

We can host business lunches or dinners, family gatherings, lunches for small ceremonies, for groups of up to forty people, agreeing with personalized menus.

Our restaurant is open for dinner and Sunday for lunch, which is always on the reservation.
